Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

EFT is a style of counselling intervention. It is a mixed alternative medicine of acupuncture, NLP (neurolinguistic programming), TFT (Thought Field Therapy) and energy psychology.

EFT is used to treat a wide variety of physical and psychological disorders. You can learn and self-administer EFT when you need it.

While sceptics claim that EFT offers no therapeutic benefits, and see it as a pseudoscience, others find that EFT practice can be life-changing. Furthermore, the US Veterans Association has recently approved the use of EFT to help eliminate symptoms like flashbacks, nightmares and hypervigilance.

eft tappingAs we hit midlife, life issues seem to hit us from all sides. From menopause and andropause to ageing parents, and boomerang kids. Add deteriorating health and a failing medical care system to the list, as well as worries over finances, the economy and politics – sometimes the list seems endless. We all search for a quick and efficient way to feel better, in order to cope. We want to get rid of phobias, limiting beliefs and negative emotions. EFT just may be the answer.
